I acquired Dasher Services, Inc. in 2025, after eight years on the executive management team, in order to carry on Sharon Ryan’s legacy of creating a forward-thinking and community-focused business that helps people live their best lives.
Dasher’s services are for clients who believe that all humans are of equal value and that everyone deserves to be heard. Our clients, primarily regional, national, and international companies, need to communicate complex information one to one, in person to diverse populations and persuade them to make good decisions. Engaging with Dasher gets our clients purpose-driven, measurable results.
Dasher Services, Inc. was founded in 1985 and primarily operated as a local print mail shop for the Harrisburg region with approximately ten employees. Today, Dasher’s culture-driven team of approximately 90 employees is distributed among 4 offices in Pennsylvania. Our projects require extensive subject matter training and can be international in scope. We communicate this complex information mainly through telephone and on-site community outreach services. Dasher Services, Inc. is a C-Corporation organized in the state of Pennsylvania.
As Dasher’s CEO, I draw upon my experience in the field of healthcare with expertise in business management, strategy development, process optimization, and performance measurement. In addition to providing overall leadership to the team, I work with businesses and community partners to create strategic alliances. These alliances are designed to remove obstacles to help people live happy, healthy lives. I also provide guidance and oversight to all our health-related initiatives, such as our Community Healthcare Workers and Community Outreach programs. I have spent many years in the healthcare industry, so I am working every day to make Dasher a partner of choice in our healthcare-focused lines of business.
My career has included physician offices, managed care organizations, a consulting arm of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and a Medicare quality organization. I genuinely believe this varied background allows me to see an issue from many perspectives and work toward the best outcome for all. I love speaking to organizations about these experiences, because it helps me to connect with the audience and provide real-life examples that hit home. I can relate to the challenges they face and provide solutions based on my time in the trenches. I have presented topics such as business management, physician coding and documentation, electronic health records, medical practice revenue cycle, chart auditing, medical practice quality initiatives, and physician contract negotiations, with most sessions offering physician education (CME) credits.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Idaho State University and hold various professional credentials through the American Health Information Management Association as well as the American Academy of Professional Coders. I currently live in central Pennsylvania and enjoy traveling, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
